Holiday Outfit Ideas 2025
With the holidays coming up, picking an outfit can either be one of the most exciting or stressful parts of the season. I've gathered a few different style aesthetics to help you pick the perfect outfit for your holiday get-together or just a fun day with family or friends.
The Dressy One
This is for my ladies who love to keep things classy. Getting dolled up for the holidays is something I know a lot of people look forward to. I started the base off with a cute red dress because you can never go wrong with one and they are easy to find during this time of year. Adding some black tights with a cute design like these polka dot ones helps to add that elegance in the outfit. Any cute pair of high heels will do here but I loved these with the sequins. Lastly, we definitely need to add some bows. This black purse with the bow handle is adorable and the hair pin bow is optional but would help turn you into the prettiest looking present at the party.
The Cozy One
We all know with the holiday stress, the last thing we want to do is get all dolled up and be in an "uncomfortable" outfit all night. So this is for my cozy girls who still want to be festive but super comfortable. I love the look of a matching set so I paired these comfy and cute red sweatpants with an adorable fair isle pattered cardigan. It is definitely giving winter vibes so for an even cozier look you can add a cute beanie and some warm boots. I think the bag ties the whole look together with its holiday-esque pattern and fuzzy exterior.
The Character Lover
We all know that one person obsessed with a Christmas movie and we might be her this year! If you've been loving the character themed prints that have been becoming more popular, then this outfit choice might be for you. I went the “ugly” Christmas sweater route that I think would look great as an oversized fit. Paired with a black mini skirt, some cute tights, and loafers, I don’t think it can get more holiday-themed than this. The super cute bow purse in the color red also adds a cute pop of color and brings out the sweater even more.
The Pajama Lover
Ok, sometimes we don't even want to change out of our pajamas that remind us of our warm, comfy bed that we just want to be in all day… And that's OK! This is for my girls that just want to spend the day in pajamas. And if you really do need to leave the house (fingers crossed you don't!) then just add a cute beanie or bow to your hair, some comfy boots, and a cute bag to dress it up a little bit.
The Dressy / Warm One
Sometimes we want to look dressy and be warm - is that too much to ask for?! If that's what I was going for this year then I would start with a dress that is warm and comfy like this long sleeve sweater dress. I would pair it with some tights and if you want to be extra warm, you can even use fleece lined tights. Some knee high boots would be the next step for me to keep my lower body as warm as I can. And a long coat is essential to ensure the whole backside of you is staying toasty (like a nice blanket hugging you from behind). Pair it with any cute purse, and there you go! So warm but no one would ever notice.
